We've managed to make a special deal with Animoto.com so that you can make your own full-length professional quality music video for free.

-Creative Commons (Free your Snapshots!!)

Placing your snapshots into the Creative Commons lets people remix your snapshots freely. This is good because every remix will be a attributed to you and compliment your great snapshots.

To free your snapshots, go to your User profile, click Edit YourScreenName's Settings, and the answer yes to the question at the top.

-Post Your Replays with Forum BBCodes

You can now embed YouTube videos onto the forums so start posting your replay and snapshot music videos.

-Closing & Flagging

You can now flag any user comment for review. When a comment is flagged, it gets put into our moderation queue for review. Disallowed behaviors that should be flagged:

1. Personal attacks of any kind
2. Being mean
3. Spam or unrelated links

You can now close your snapshots and stages so that no comments can be made on them. Closing also makes it so you are the only one who can edit your snapshot or stage's tags. To close your snapshot or stage, go to its Edit page and check the check box.

-Sort Your User Profiles

Snapshots and stages on user profiles had always been sorted by latest posted but a couple of weeks ago we got a post from HadesGigas ( http://www.brawlsnapshots.com/users/HadesGigas ) who requested that he be able to sort his snapshots by number of points as well. Well, we've delivered! You can now sort snapshots and stages on users' profile by latest and best. Underneath "Submitted Snapshots" it says "Sorted by Latest." To sort by best click the link to the right of there that says "Sort by Best."

-Thumbnails next to Comments

I don't know how many of you read the comments page ( http://www.brawlsnapshots.com/comments ) but it's great. It shows all the comments on the site that have been recently made. Now it's even better though. Before, it would just show the text of the comment and a link to the snapshot, but now it also shows a thumbnail of the snapshot/stage on the left. This makes it great for figuring out what people are talking about.

In efforts to provide the most accurate snapshot collection, we have made a guide that explains how to tag your snapshots properly. The benefit of properly tagged snapshots is that the tags will appear in bold below the snapshot, and people will be able to find your snapshot while browsing the Index page. Also, your snapshots will be included in the snapshot totals that are featured on the Index page.

Brawl Snapshots now does stages

BrawlSnapshots.com now lets you upload your own Brawl Stage creations with the same ease and browsability as snapshots. Just save your stage to an SD card and upload it to our site. Anyone in the world with internet access can download your stage to their SD card and put it on their Wii. What a great way to share stages and snapshots.

Brawl Snapshots is now live!

Last night we launched BrawlSnapshots.com for real. Go there to upload, share, view, and rate your snapshots (a.k.a. screen shots) of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
